All clients come with a unique set of goals and ideas of what they want to get from therapy. All clients are ideal because they are unique. They have the goals, the wants, the issues to be resolved and the drive to do that. The clients want to have a sense of power and peace in their lives, they need a little help to get there. I believe that everyone can reach an optimum state of health. I employ an eclectic (or including all kinds of therapy types) approach with cognitive-behavioral aspects. I am trained in EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, PCIT therapy, Infant/Toddler Mental Health, mindfulness techniques, and possess a certificate in Substance Abuse Treatment. Trauma can be resolved. Calm, caring and compassion, is what I offer to you. Through telehealth, I am able to provide you with a safe space to discuss and work on the things that are keeping you from where you would like to be in life.

I have worked with all ages and at this time see clients from 11 and up. I truly enjoy with young adults and adolescents. I have had the pleasure to work with teens and adults exploring the benefits and challenges of being an Autistic. Treatment focus areas include, but are not limited to, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Trauma, Parenting, Adjustment to Life-cycle Transitions, Grief & Loss and Relationships. My therapy practice uses a collaborative, holistically oriented and individually tailored approach. I use a variety of treatment modalities including Trauma-Focused and Classical Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal psychotherapy, Strength-Based, Person Centered and Narrative therapy. Your decision to reach out is a decision of hope that led you to the start of a new path of wellness and recovery. When you set your GPS to a healthier destination it helps to have someone ride along to provide support, encouragement, inspiration and guidance. I would be honored to travel with you.

Have you noticed difficulty getting out of the bed in the morning? Would you describe yourself as anxious, depressed, or unmotivated? If you’ve noticed any of these issues I can help you to navigate relationships, increase motivation, reduce intrusive thoughts, and improve coping skills. Anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts may be new issues or something you’ve dealt with your entire life. We can explore how these issues impact your unique situation. Anxiety, depression, and intrusive thoughts can start at any point in your life. I will help you identify the link between your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and values. I will also teach you practical, research-based skills that can be used to improve these symptoms outside of session. The ultimate goal will be for you to no longer need to see me. I recently moved to my home state, Pennsylvania, after living in Eugene, Oregon for the past three years. I provide teletherapy and I am joined most days by my cat, Salem, who is a Eugene native. When I’m not working with clients I like to kayak, ride motorcycles, and travel. I’m currently accepting new Oregon clients and would be happy to work with you!
